Today I decided to take advantage of the day off and go for a walk down by Tempe Town Lake. The word “lake” leaves a little to desire, but a body of water in the desert is a body of water, whether it is man made or not. A few weeks ago it was drained to make a better dam to hold the south end of the lake. Once refilled, they had to fill it with millions of goldfish to fight the fly population. At the end of the day, nothing is quite as relaxing to me as sitting at the waters edge staring off into nothingness and just getting lost in my own head.
