I have been slapping the don’t walk hand five for a while now. I think it’s fun and funny. The other night as I was walking home, I did it and then thought that it would make a good shot. So tonight after going to a birthday party, I still had to go out and take a picture. I decided that tonight would be a good time to capture this one. I walk down a few blocks to try to find a “well lit” corner. I’m sure I could’ve done better, but going from corner to corner to test the light, got real old, real quick. The next challenge was getting a shot with me actually high fiving the hand. This sounds much easier than it actually is. I ended up with a bunch of on the way up and on the way down shots, and blurry shots, but not many clear shots. In fact, this was the first good one that I ended up with. I think I need to try this again with more light and a faster shutter.
